Carol spent a number of years in the cut-throat advertising industry and eventually grew tired of the wear and tear. She took a few years on what she lovingly calls a "soul-batical" — a period of real reflection to figure out what she wanted to do next.

It lit a fire in her — a genuine desire to help people avoid some of the painful situations her parents faced before their passing.

A family member's cancer diagnosis deepened that calling even further. Watching a loved one navigate a serious illness while also facing the financial reality of what health insurance doesn't cover was a turning point for Carol. She became passionate — not just about Medicare, but about the ancillary coverages that can make a real, life-changing difference for families when it matters most.
